Now that you are a member or about to join Chesfield Downs Golf & Country Club, I look forward to welcoming you to the Men’s Section.

We have competitions and events that let everyone, no matter their ability, get the most out of their golf and meet new friends. The section offers a wide and varied choice of individual and team fun competitions for you to enter. Competition fees are payable in advance through Intelligent Golf (IG) and are normally £4 for most competitions.

If you are new to golf, we will help you acquire your handicap, and this is automatically updated when you play in competitions or Supplementary cards. Golfers only need to play in three qualifying competitions a year to keep their handicap active for most of our competitions which is also the same number you need to play to be eligible for a prize and Six for Majors.

You don’t need to know other golfers to take part in competitions as we will sort that out as well. You will be amazed how quickly you meet people and make new friends.

There is a small one-off fee of £10 to join the Men’s Section which will need paying into the following account: Chesfield Downs Golf Club Men’s Section; Sort code 60-20-26; Account no 63553449.

Please ensure you reference your payment by putting in your name followed by ‘join fee’.
